Chew Fu Keong is the CEO of BuildSpace and serves on its board of directors at Global PCK Solutions Sdn. Bhd.

BuildSpace started back in 2011 when myself and my partners (Azlan and Hazli) found an opportunity to improve the overall process of the construction industry through a software and shift the business processes such as BQ and tender submission towards digitalisation. Initially, the first few years of our journey were utilised to curate and launched our BuildSpace Pro Beta version before we got an opportunity to simulate BuildSpace to main players of the industry (Eco World, SP Setia, Sime Darby Property and Gamuda Land). Gamuda Land was the first to fully utilise our E-Project System before it was extended to Gamuda Berhad.

As far as the construction industry is concerned, most of the processes are still being done manually and require extensive resources and time to complete certain tasks. This has to change and the industry players need to embrace digitalisation in line with IR4.0. Our mission is for BuildSpace to be in the forefront and partner with industry players to add value in the entire business process.
